ROMANS 1:4
- Christ’s Resurrection Proclaims His Power.
Romans 1:4 “and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.”
2. Christ’s Resurrection Provides Our Justification.
Romans 4:24-25 “but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, 25who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.”
3. Christ’s Resurrection Proves Our Partnership.
Romans 6:4 “Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
Romans 6:9 “knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.”
4. Christ’s Resurrection Puts Aside The Law.
Romans 7:4 “Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.”
5. Christ’s Resurrection Promises Our Resurrection.
Romans 8:11 “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”
6. Christ’s Resurrection Prevents Condemnation.
Romans 8:34 “Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”
7. Christ’s Resurrection Proves Our Salvation.
Romans 10:9 “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
8. Christ’s Resurrection Proceeds To His Lordship.
Romans 14:9 “For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.”
